The Crocodile Park is one of Spain’s most fascinating attractions. In the nursery you may be lucky enough to see young crocodiles emerging from their eggs. You can even pose for a photo cuddling one of the babies before meeting the rest of the family, which includes adult crocodiles weighing more than 600Kgs. Other highlights are the African fortress, Masai village, a museum & wildlife video, a reptile house and feeding time.
Situated in Torremolinos, the heart of the Costal Del Sol. In Crocodile Park you will find yourself in front of prehistoric monsters which have miraculously survived 200 million years of evolution - carnivores which knew the dinosaurs and use the distance of less than 2 metres, you can wonder at the gigantic crocodiles by silently walking beside them, observing the secrets of one of the most fascinating creatures of our world.

Teleférico /Cable Cars - Benalmadena
The Cable Car at Benalmadena was opened in 2003 and has fast become one of the main tourist attractions on the Costa del Sol. The modern Telecabina (or Teleférico) is part of the Selwo Adventure Parks group, which also has Selwo Aventura in Estepona and Selwo Marina in Benalmadena.
The Telecabina (or 'Teleférico') takes you on an amazing 15-minute journey in a Cable Car that holds 4 people, right up to Mount Calamorro the highest point in the Malaga Province at an altitude of almost 800 meters above sea level. From this superb vantage point, you not only have the most magnificent views of the Costa del Sol, but also the awesome panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains (white with snow in the winter months), The Guadalhorce Valley and on a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the coast of Africa.
Once at the top, there are clearly marked signs leading to specific viewpoints; "Cima Calamorro" (The Calamorro Mountain Peak) and "Sur" (South) and "Oeste" (West). You might be surprised to hear that once on the mountaintop, in a very beautiful and natural surrounding, you can take a donkey ride. The donkeys are ready and waiting for passengers coming off the cable car at the top. As well as a donkey ride, included in the price is you can also see an exhibition of fine Spanish Dressage Horses, performing at their best. You can also see a demonstration on how the birds of prey, which are kept there, can live with and trust mankind. See a demonstration of the speed and feeding habits of a Peregrine Falcon and the majestic flight of the Eagle. So successful is the bird of prey sanctuary on the Calamorro Mountain top that four Royal Owl chicks were born there recently. This news hit the local papers in celebration of the successful breeding of this protected species. There are more than 60 birds of different species, such as Vultures, Royal Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, White-headed Vultures as well as the Royal Owls. All of this makes the cable car ride exciting, educational and enjoyable for the whole family.
On summer nights the peak of Calamorro is transformed into a vast open air planetarium where visitors can explore the Mediterranean sky. There is also a cafeteria with a terrace featuring stunning views over the Malaga coastline.
To find the Telecabina, go into Arroyo de la Miel village and follow the signs for Tivoli World. Right opposite the entrance to Tivoli is the start of the cable car ride. The normal opening hours are from 10:00 right through to 23:30 (last cable car ride comes back at 00:45). High winds or extreme weather may disrupt the timetable.
In July and August the Bird of Prey Exhibition is at 13:00 and 20:00 and the Spanish Horse Dressage exhibition is at 12:00, 18:00 and 22:00. These times may vary weekly.

Fuengirola Zoo – Fuengirola
Fuengirola's visitor and animal-friendly zoo - as you wander through this simulated tropical forest, lush with vegetation, rivers and waterfalls, you'll see crocodiles basking on the sandy shores of the Nile, Sumatra tigers bathing besides Angkor Wat, lemurs playing around an ancient Baobab tree and, if you're brave, bats flitting around abandoned mines. There is a "Claro de Selva", where you can see birds and mammals living in their own natural habitat.
Look down in The Forest Floor section and you'll spot meerkats, giant snails and river hogs. Look up in the Forest Canopy and you'll see gibbons and hornbills and rainbow Loris monkeys. Wherever you look in this pioneer zoo, the only thing between you and the animals are natural barriers like bridges and riverbanks, or bulletproof windows that allow you to get right up close, even to razor-sharp crocodile teeth.
Perhaps the greatest innovation, though, is the "moonlight visit". Throughout July and August the zoo stays open until 1.00 am allowing visitors to observe the more nocturnally-active species, such as leopards, flying foxes and porcupines. The forest paths are lit with artificial moonlight and the air filled with a piped forest soundtrack, all adding to the Disney-theme park feel to the place. Finally, you can round off your twilight or midnight jungle trip by enjoying a meal in the zoo's themed restaurant.
Extra fun for the kids is provided, with a large play area, including a miniature farm. And there are absolutely no problems for those with disabilities as the zoo grounds are mostly flat, and free from all architectural barriers.
Opening hours: Jan, Feb, Mar 10-6pm, Apr, May & June 10-7 M-F, 10-8pm Sat & Sun. July & August 10-1am.
